Hi all

I am not sure where to ask this question, but I was wondering how would I go about suggesting an idea for a cartridge? I love Steampunk things and would love to have a cartridge for my Cricut machine.

OK ... I admit it ... I had absolutely no clue what "steampunk" even was (I know, what rock have I been hiding under, right?). So I did a quick web search. WHOA ... I love it! I love this Victorian look (almost a Victorian grunge, wouldn't you say?). Tim Holtz seems to do a lot along these lines ... with the clock parts, gears, locks, watches, etc. And the Victorian fashions are amazing too!!!

I agree ... this would make a FABULOUS and very FUN cart! ThumpUp

I always use to throw large hints on the MB for carts I wanted. :) I guess you can call customer service now for recommending cartridge designs. I am not sure if this is still done either. If I keep typing it will get posted back to the top and somebody will see it and might know where to go. The old board we used to have a cartridge wish list forum. I miss that one.

I love steampunk! That would be a must have cartridge for me. I work in steampunk a lot. One of my favorite subjects.

Great idea. I was hoping I could use the Robotz cart for this but it was so cartoony. This is so trendy and cool right now it should be a no brainer.

You are absolutely correct ... call customer service! They do keep a list of cart theme requests and pass them on to the appropriate department at PC. The more requests they get for a particular theme, the more attention it will get! I have a feeling that a cart of this type would would be very popular.

I was recently introduced to steampunk too! I love it! Have you seen the site http://www.epbot.com/?

She is the same woman who does Cake Wrecks and her epbot blog is about all things geeky. She often features steampunk on that blog.

Yes, G45 is very much along the lines of SteamPunk.

Sign me up for this! I think they should call it Steam Punk as well! The pictures will show what they are. It would be nice to have one for the E and then one with images we could print for the I! Drool I love Graphic45, Tim Holtz and all of those sorts of things!

I love the Graphic 45 papers, especially with wizard of oz stuff. Can anyone recommend a good online retailer for this paper?

I'd love a Steampunk cart also, though I would CRY if it were for the Imagine.

As it is, Indie Art, Victorian Romance, Sophisticated, etc can make Steampunk things.

Thanks to Google I now know also what this is! LOL I have to agree with StampinMeg though that this would be an awesome cartridge for the Imagine, with the ability to print, kind of like the Santa's Village. It is so vintage looking! (Sorry OCLittleFlower, the Imagine gets my vote! lol) Not my cup of tea, but certainly a viable option for a cartridge! BigGrin

I would love one too! If you have the Imagine, JT would be a good cartridge to try for steampunk images.

If they create a cart it should traditional and for the Imagine. Obviously, so many people want it. It would STINK if it was only for the Imagine and other users could not have it since they are not compatible.

Yes, please! I would definitely buy a Steampunk cartridge/digital download, as long as they didn't go the cartoon-y route.

Me too and it is so hard to find around here (planning on a trip to Winnsboro, Texas to a LSS that is rumored to have some.) Why, why. why doesn't HL or Michaels carry it? As to Provocraft making that cart...my luck it would be a perk for the Circle and I am too poor to join it. (Like the American Sign Language cart) sigh.

This is a gift I made for a friend using it.
