Hi everyone, I'll have to make sure I take pics when my bulletin boards, but here is what I've made recently. If anyone wants the gypsy file, I'm more than happy to share... I'm just not on the computer that syncs my gypsy right now, so I can't download the files!
1. "Distinguished Authors" -- a spot for my students to start putting their "good copy" of writing from their journal after working on editing, etc. It has the title in blackletter, then it has kids reading books at the bottom, using the paper doll carts for the book and heads, and then using locker talk (I think) for the hands.
2. "Imagine a place" - for art my students made dioramas of place they knew or imagined. We used the cricut to cut out some of the images they used (ie house from going places).. then I cut out clouds from paper doll cart, "Imagine a place..." from making the grade font, and grass form plantain schoolbook. This is going to be in a display case.
3. "Dear Friend," - We are also working on writing letters. I've cut out, using simply sweet cart, "Dear Friend,/Your Friend," and "Grade 2" using gypsy font. All words are welded together... and they are up on the bulletin board to look like a giant letter (no date, as it will get outdated too fast... and most students are still working on getting their good copy done)
That's it for now. hopefully I'll edit later with pics!

Originally Posted by: AllisonMoroz PICTURES PLEASE! ;-) And can you enlighten me.....I am a newbie...what is Gypsy? Allison OMG! This is so freakin' cute! Let's corrupt her innocent mind quickly! LOL The Gypsy is a handheld device used to plan cricut projects on the go. It can be connected to any of the Cricuit eledtronic cutting machines for cutting of projects. The Gypsy has other features and limitatations. It's quite fun and addictive. I'm sure that the other members of the board will be happy to contribute to your corruption... I mean EDUCATION about the Gypsy aka the "G". There are also tons of videos on the Cricut site, the Internet and youtube about what the G can do. Just search on "Cricut Gypsy" Enjoy!
