I live rurally and have very limited internet access, with a total limit of 200MB a day. I have plenty of bandwidth to read the message board and look at pics, but not enough to watch videos/youtube.
Does anyone know how much bandwidth craftroom is going to require? Thanks

I don't know the answer to that question but I can forward it to the CCR developers for you.

Thanks, I appreciate it! I think I will probably end up just having to try it and check my usage. IF it fits into my bandwidth allotment, then I will have to go buy a wireless router because my craft room is in a totally different area of the house than the desktop/sattelite internet!

It may not be your bandwidth, it could be your video card (inside your computer) or your how many rams your computer has or the processor...
Do you know what it is???

Hi Stephanie
I received a reply from the developers about your bandwidth question:
"She should not have a problem with this amount of daily capacity. However, what will also be important is the speed of her connection – Craft Room will run much better the faster her internet connection.
Thanks for the interest!"
Hope that helps!

Narelle - Could you clarify something else with the Developers?
Is it true that it is better to have ALL other programs closed on your computer when you are working in CCR? I know I can have some things open from time-to-time, but I find with most of the things I work in on the computer, everything runs much better if I am only opening one application at a time.
I ask, because if it is important to keep everything fairly simple, it may help everyone out there to know they need to have other applications closed, if it is an issue.
Thanks.
Char
