Has anyone had a defective brand new Simply Charmed cartridge. The Gypsy can't read it to link and the Cricut reads it as a George and Basic shapes cartridge.
Just reaching out before I contact support.

I would first look at the label on the BACK of the actual cartridge and see if the serial number indicates George or Simply Charmed. (I forget the exact abbreviations but it should be easy to tell). Then I'd plug it directly into your machine and press a shape button and see what comes up on the screen. It is a George image or SC image? And what do the booklet and overlay say?
Maybe it was labeled wrong. I'm sure that PC will replace it for you no problem.

After you posted this I made sure to check mine. Even though I had used it I wasn't sure what it said when it loaded. Mine is labeled correctly and the machine recognizes it as Simply Charmed. I don't have a gypsy so I can't say anything about that part. I would contact support. I bet you just got the wrong cart. in the wrong box. Good Luck!
