Any chance Cricut will come out with a cord in the future like the regular cricuts use? So we can just hook up the cartridge directly to the gypsy instead of having to hook it up to the actual machine?! Seems something simple to do.

woooohooooo!!!!! It works!!!!! So very excited after 2 days with struggling on the Imagine and then with the Gypsy. Thanks to the message boards I think all is well and I can get on with the fun

I am having the same issue - if anyone has any info on this, please let me know. My machine worked just fine the last time I used it which was 2 months ago.

Ok I have to ask. What is the point of loading the imagine cartridges on to the Gypsy if it does not combine the cartridges. You still can't do a project using the old carts and the imagine carts together.
