I mean, if you could design a cricut cartridge, what would it be ..?? I would LOVE there to be a HOBBIES/PASTIMES/OCCUPATION cartridge - with images of computers/games consoles, reading, movies/cinema, mechanic, postman, etc ... Edited by user Friday, March 04, 2011 4:25:20 AM(UTC)

Mascots!! I would be happy with just some commonly used ones-even if they have a slight variance from the official version. With 2 kids in ball this would be great.

Well, considering I am a nurse, I would love to see a healthcare themed one...stethoscope, caduceus, etc. Also a really nice cat one...realistic looking cats, doing different things. Love the idea of a hobby themed one. For me sewing/quilting (anykind of needlework)and reading. Love this topic.

The hobby one sounds great. I would really like a Christian cartridge. I know there is one out that is an oveall that has one or two of every "religion", but I want specific. Christian art clips, bible passage, and the general idea of soothing words that would make a nice layout for events that the church would sponser on one cart. Kinda tired shifting to three or four carts to get a sympathy card together or even inviting someone new to Christ!!!
I know this would be a hard one to do as many would complain, but this is what I want!!!

I am thrilled with all of the recent Disney / Pixar cartridges. Baby Steps is awesome, filled in for the cute baby things.
Motor sports was a HUGE part of my life...drag racing particularly. Would be neat to have something with drag racing / nascar / carts things like that. There were always families involves in the drag racing and I have more pics than I can shake a stick at to put together.
Hot wheels would be very cool for little boys.
And I agree, a nice cat / dog cartridge. Not just cute images. I like the 4 legged friends but they have some very abstract concepts on it. Meow is just plain cute. A nice one with a little more realistic animals would be very neat to see

I hate to even suggest this because I know it would be a licensed cart, but I would really love to see a Looney Toons cart ... Tweety, Sylvester, Taz, Road Runner, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Wile Coyote, Marvin the Martian, etc. ... well, you get the idea.
Or Betty Boop ... she would be such fun too!

love these ideas!
Why would anybody complain about a Christian cart? just don't buy it. There are lots of carts I see no use for, so I don't buy them. Pretty simple. It would only be an issue if it were the circle cart.
As for sports, I would loooove that to be an option, but know it isn't feasible for the liscensing :( Making sports team logos & mascots has been pretty much my only use of the third party software I have b/c I love the carts and don't really have the design skills to make much on my own. But I am crazy for sports.. so thats what I use
Another one I NEED is Disney Villians. Ursula is my favorite! but we need the evil queen (and hag), maleficent, cruella, etc. Seriously NEED

I'd want an 80's and a 90's cart. I scrapbook a ton of my childhood and teen photos and this would come in handy! We have a '70s cart and a 50's cart...why not these?!

Or Betty Boop ... she would be such fun too! Those would be cute but I have to tell you ... we found the movie Space Jam on TV last week and my 7 year old had no idea who Bugs Bunny, Road Runner ... were. I couldn't believe it. I'd also love to see a Peanuts cart. And of course I can never have enough Disney ... would love to see a Parks cart ... the castle, Small World, maybe fireworks

My son loves Legos and Harry Potter. It would be fun to have a Legos cartrige with some of the block set building styles--they have Indiana Jones, Harry Potter, and other themed sets that could make fun designs.
Also, even just a generic wizardry/magic type of cartridge would be fun since there are so many wizard and magical themed fantasy fiction books, movies and games out there. It could have phrases, word art, pointy wizard hats, magic wands, mythical creatures, and so forth.
For me, I'd still like a cartridge that has all types of pop-up card designs, 3D flowers and 3D boxes and objects.

OH YEAH! Peanuts would be so cool!
The mascot thing would be very cool for patents...We were the Colts and Fillies in high school. So many of the high school "mascots" are the same with just different coloring and names. That would be one that many people could use

I'm not Christian, but I wouldn't be offended at all by a Christian-themed cart. I can see how it would be so useful to so many. I just wouldn't buy it! NBD!
I would like a Thomas the Train cart. (Can you tell I have a 2-year-old at home?)
I love the idea of mascots / sports as well, both licensed and more generic.
And a Disney Parks cart would be soooooo popular. I would totally buy it (even though we haven't been for years and have no plans to go anytime soon. But we'll get there! Eventually!)

I would definitely be onboard with the DR SEUSS Cart! I've been reading posts everywhere about needing a Dr Seuss cart - whats the hold up Cricut!? I use my stuff for scrapbooking and personal cards and such, but mostly in my classroom (PreK), so LEGOS would be VERY COOOL. Could you imagine the font that would be created on a Lego cart? I'm excited to see these ideas blossom!

How about a greek letter cartridge. I would love to have greek letters for mine and dh's college days. Could call it college life and put some other college related things on there. mascots could go on that one as well.

I think a Greek letter cart would be next to impossible because a lot of the organizations won't let non-members have access to their letters and things of that nature.
Count me in as another one that would love a Looney Tunes/Warner Brothers themed cart. When I was a kid, in the not so distant past, we used to watch cartoons like Rugrats, Animaniacs, Doug, Chip and Dale, Darkwing Duck. etc. The stuff on TV today is HORRIBLE. I remember watching Barney until I was in the 4rd grade. Now if a kid watches Barney in the 3rd grade, he's a loser.
I'd give anything to watch Pinky and the Brain right now. SO, stinkin' cute!
