Here is the anniversary card I did for my in-laws. They aren't really glitzy people so I had to do a pretty simple card. I think I turned out pretty good. AmandaAllender attached the following image(s):

It's beautiful, Amanda; bet they will love it and notice that you "know them" and didn't make it too glitzy.
I come from a family who is the nicest family anyone would ever want to have; but, we're not a bit glitzy. I'm probably the most glitzy one in the family. BUT, I do try to mindful of the fact most of our family isn't. I inflict it some; but, I try not to overdo it. I definitely try to keep it off the "guy" cards. Although, I do get into the hologram patterns under cutouts that give a sprakly effect for the guys. They seem to be okay with that.
Again, your card is really nice.
