Hi,
I'm new to my Cricut and Gypsy and am having trouble linking my Create a Critter cartridge to the Gypsy. Every time I try I get a message to say that my Gypsy needs updating but when I go to update it I get a message to say I am up to date. I seem to be in a loop!! HELP!!!!

If Create a Critter is on your Gypsy then it should link and recognize it. I have found that plugging the Gypsy in to the power source sometime solves the glitches, instead of trying to run it on battery power to link cartridges. I imagine you have done the on/off thing.

Hi Valerie,
Many thanks for your reply and suggestions. Have checked the Gypsy and CAC is on it. Also tried your suggestions but no luck - think I had better go back to the retailer who sold it to me as I can't think of anything else I can do!!

Try this:
1. Click on Cricut Synch on your computer
2. Click the Help tab
3. Click the Troubleshooting tab
4. Answer all 3 questions "yes".
This should allow you to get the updates.
