I was thinking the same thing. I have never seen a flood of new people in such a short time.
Welcome! I'm looking forward to getting to know you!

Hi everyone, I have question that I want to ask. Is there anyone here from Canada that has bought a cricut machine from cricut.com? I am considering buying the expression and I have never purchased anything from them, has anyone ever had any problems ordering from them?

I think all the new people (me included) got the cricut for Christmas. I love all the information I have gotten here. I haven't made an actual project yet, but I have played with it a bit.

I am considering buying the expression and I have never purchased anything from them, has anyone ever had any problems ordering from them? Hi Debbie, Welcome to the world of cricut! I know very little about shopping from cricut.com and Canada. I'm going to post a link that will take you to one of our forums where you can find other Canadians who may be able to answer your question. I will also try to post your message on the Circle MB to see if there's some help there. http://community.provocr...gains-in-Canada--Eh.aspxCome back and let us know if you were helped. I purchased my imagine from them with no problem, but that's all I've purchased from them. I know that the shipping costs to Canada are crazy high ($60 shipping for 1 cartridge to Edmonton)...so make sure you purchase something that includes free shipping. Maybe another Cdn will have more to share

I have not bought a machine from Cricut.com but I will tell you the shipping will be expensive unless there is a free shipping on this item. The only time I buy from Cricut.com is when there is free shipping. The cost to ship one cartridge to Canada is usually about $60. You could probably purchase the E cheaper from Costco or Wal-mart or even Michaels. Feel free to PM me with any questions.

I also got my Imagine from Cricut.com with no problem but I will add that I have had to pay duty on other items. Welcome all Newbies. Be prepared to be inspired and enabled on this board.

Everyone has been SO welcoming and full of love and ideas! I can honestly say, now that I found this MB, I almost always have it open when I'm on my computer! I got a Create (yes, for Christmas). I wanted it for scrapbooking purposes, but have not made any layouts since I got it. I've been making cards after seeing them on here! So, I'm glad that I found multiple uses for my cricut. I have a feeling I'm going to be investing lots of money this year... in my Cricut and accessories!!

Hey, Amy I'm glad you found us, too. Having so many newbies is just FANTASTIC!!! and exciting. I started here in the beginning and received so much help that this has become my favorite place on the whole MB. I love sharing what I know with others, especially when it comes to Cricut. If I don't know an answer, believe me, I'll try to find it because in the process I'm learning something new. I think I'll always be a newbie at heart. Come back and share some of your projects with us. You'll find folks here are very kind and really care about helping our newbies. So if you need help, just post, and you'll get the help you need. I try to make it here at least once a day, and I know some others come by regularly, too. Take care.
