 Hello there, I'm a very new beginner to cricut, I have the cricut create machine, just purchase it, trying to do card, try my first project on it with the donjuan that came with it and I tryed the first project in booklet with the card, still don't know what to do, do the machine cut my card first or do I cut the card first....please someone help this new lady with this machine, THANKS

Rita let me see if I can explain. For the project card it wants you to use your machine to cut the card. load a piece of 6 X 12 paper on your mat and load it in the machine.
You want to set the size to 5 1/2 like the instructions say then choose window card 2 - to do this you will hit shift then choose the key that has the card with an oval in it. By hitting shift first this will give you the card with the rectangle opening. then just hit cut.
Then it wants you to cut the phrase "thanks" at 1 inch and the ribbon at 1".
