I bought one of the cricut expression machines from Wal-mart recently. I noticed that when I was cutting some letters out the beginning of the cut and the end of the cut were not lining up correctly.

I returned that one and got a new one. However there are times when this one does the same thing. Have you ever had this experience? I need to figure out what settings make it do this. I just noticed last night and I think it was on the higher pressure settings with the blade at a 5. Could it be that when the blade is too far out of it's housing it is unstable and does not want to line up correctly.

It is really annoying to have the beginning of a cut and the end of a cut be in two different places.
