What kind of Vinyl does everyone use with the Cricut Expression? Is there a particular kind? Do i need a certain blade? I'm trying to help my boyfriend make something he needs for his hobby. :)

I use contact paper for my etching. I have emailed a friend who has a sign company. I am asking about his remnants of vinyl.
I do pressure at med and blade at 3. Hope that helps.

What do I need to do the etching on the glass? I looked today but everything is sold out and picked over. Thanks for the tip!

Thanks for the tip! I use a colored (really speckled) contact paper to make my stencil on the cricut. I use my pressure at medium and my blade on 3. I use clear contact paper as my transfer paper. I use the Armor Etch Cream to do my etching. I use a sponge brush to spread out the cream. For glass blocks, I leave the cream on for 40-45 minutes. I would leave it on at least for 20 minutes (maybe more) on the classes.

LovinPink, There is Cricut Vinyl which is also the brand (Oracal 631) and is mostly used indoors and on walls then there is outdoor vinyl (Oracal 651). There are a lot of online places you can buy vinyl as well as transfer tape. I have a whole DVD on using vinyl with your Cricut too if you are interested.  You can use your regular blade for cutting vinyl.  ~Joy~
