Merry Christmas all!! I just joined the board. My husband bought me a Cricut Expressions for Christmas! I've played with it a bit today and LOVE it! It came with the Plantin SchoolBook cartridge set. The book says it should have the Serenade Cricut Solutions cartridge set also, but I didn't see it in the box. I'll check on it Monday. I'm just really happy to have the machine. :) Melissa in Snowy Alabama

Hi Melissa! I am also new to the board and hubby also got me an expression for christmas i was wondering the same thing about the serenade cartridge, he got it at walmart and i realized by reading their website that if purchased @ walmart and you got the black expression it actually only comes with one cartridge which is plantin , the white comes with 2 so maybe the manual was not edited for the black machine. i ended up returning it and ordering one of the color machines through the site and its $75 cheaper! (more money for cartridges! lol) ps...the colorful expressions on walmart.com are the same as the regular and come with 2 cartridges. Edited by user Sunday, January 02, 2011 8:42:27 PM(UTC)

Serenade was the cart in the 2009 Black Friday bundle for WalMart. If you got the 2010 BF bundle, you don't get Serenade but Cricut Classic Font and Playtime. If you buy one of the regular Cricut machines that WM stocks, you will get a different combo of carts. Welcome to the MB!
