I have the expression and want to cut out some shapes using velvet paper and some fuzzy paper but keep having trouble getting it to cut all the way through. I have used the deep cut blade and the highest pressure level on machine and still it doesn't completely cut the paper. Any thoughts? Wingers91

Don't have mine yet, but have you tried the multi cut?

Not sure if this works or not but a friend of mine turned her paper over and cut it from the back. she used the blue masking tape to hold the paper in place. it should work ok if the cuts don't have too much detail inside like the inside of letters.

Maybe you need a new blade. I just cut some velvety paper on my create with no deep blade and it cut perfect and smooth. I also just bought a pack of blades and one of them was dull, right out of the pack grrr. The other is fine so no sence in trying to return them.I don't even remember where I got them

Def try the multi cut feature. It gives you the option of cutting twice, three or four times through. :)

I've cut fuzzy paper with paper backing and I had to multi cut many, many times. After doing that, the image still didn't come falling out, but I was able to carefully punch it out. (Remember to increase the blade, pressure, and slow down the speed!)
Hint, I would not put the paper felt side down because then it all sticks to the mat and you lose a ton of fuzzies which make your mat less sticky. I cut some glitter foam once and the glitter falling off really affected the stickiness of my mat! Just my experience! Jen
