Hi everyone!!!! I bought the cricut create instead of the personal so I could have the 11.5 length in cutting...so, how do I get the machine to cut vertically instead of horizontally which only gives me a 5.5 cut????? I've tried putting in on portrait and it still said image won't fit... Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If I understand you, you're going to need to either make it shorter to fit or use the design studio software or gypsy. You can download a trial at cricut.com. Edited by user Tuesday, December 14, 2010 7:04:33 PM(UTC)

Use fit to page and it will make it as large as the cut will make. You must remember the width plays a part in the cut. Some items will do 11.5 I am very pleased with mine.

It's more a question of these two vs. the expression. The expression will cut 11.5 x 11.5 vs. the create and personal 6x12. The create has most of the features available on the expression whereas the personal does not.
Although sometimes you have to turn your design around to get it wider, depending on your design the fit to page may work for you. HTH
