Trying to do a star end cap with "You're in the Army Now" and end star, but the cricut will not let me finish typing in the words. Not sure why. It says "too many characters. But it is NOT to many characters for the paper. Why is it doing this? I have the size dial low enough to get both stars and all the words on the paper, but again, it will not let me type in all the words. It stops at "the" stating too many characters.

On bugbytes.com Tammy Skinner has a great video to explain how to use these tags. The video is dated April 20, 2010. Hope that helps

There is actually a limit to how many characters the Cricut will hold in its memory at one time. I do not remember the exact number, but I know that I have tried to cut long phrases all at once, and got the same message. It is different than the paper being too small. As far as I know, there is no way around this without using DS or a G.
