thanks everyone for all the help that has been given to me. I have been wondering, some videos i have seen using ribbon doesn't really explain what adhesive to use. any suggestions greatly helpful.

I'm a newbie but I've seen several people use the xyron sticker maker. You just run your ribbon through it and it makes a sticker. :)

You can also use the glue glider pro, zots, glue dots, and double sided tape. HTH
