I was trying to use the Plantin' Schoolbook font cartridge for layering letters. I cut out the shadow in one color, and then the Tall Ball to place on top of them. The letters didn't line up.
When cartridges have a shadowing font, which font do you use for the top? I have a few font cartridges that offer "base shadow" or "shadow" options.

Are you using the tall ball shadow plus the tall ball font? That is how it needs to be done.....

It depends on how many fonts there are on the cartridge.
Plantin schoolbook has 5 fonts, but only 2 of those fonts have a shadow - the base font and the End Caps font.
Tall Ball, Italic and Roly Poly don't have a shadow.
The handbook shows you the different feature keys. The shadow for a font will usually have the same name as its base font. Example End Caps & End Caps Shadow. If it's the shadow for the base font it will usually just be called Shadow.
If you want a shadow for the fonts that don't have one, you can cut the same letters in a different colour and offset them when you are sticking them on your card etc. Not the same as a true shadow, but still effective.
