made my first attemp since getting the deep cut blade and it was terrible. I bought "medium weight" chipboard on ebay, my blade started in it then the machine made awful noises and wasnt' cutting. I cancelled it, and it still cuts paper fine. Where do I get chipboard that it will cut. I need to make 150 Christmas ornaments out of chipboard, please help.

I too have had a hard time cutting the super thick chipboard. One suggestion I read here was to use "cereal" boxes and then spray paint. The thickest I have ever cut was about 1/8 inch thick. Hope that helps. Depends on what size you are cutting too as to how "worry free" they become.

I always tape the chipboard to the mat - that way it does not move causing that horrible grinding noise
