Starting with pg 58, the Font and Font Shadow images do not correspond to the main picture/cut. Often, in addition to not being part of the main image/cut, they don't have anything to do with each other at all.
Is this a known problem everyone has, or am I just, as my mother insists, special?

Well, I suppose I must be special, too. LOL! I just got this cartridge today and was looking at the handbook--for the second time--and noticed the same thing. I checked the handbook that is on the Cricut site, and it's the exact same as my book. I've tried to associate some rhyme or reason for splitting up images like this, but I can't figure it out, nor is there a clarifying note anywhere in the handbook that I can find. An example is the the car on p. 46 has layers (Font and Font Shadow features) on p. 59, but they seem to have shadow layers on p. 46, too. Can hardly wait for someone to explain this handbook. ;-)

Okay, that makes sense. The font/alphabet does end on pg 57, so starting with pg 58, instead of leaving Not Available (blank) spots in the font spaces, PC put in some simple (single-layer + shadow) versions of multi-layered cuts already in the book. It's confusing because the cuts they added look just like cuts already offered, and they have nothing to do with the main cut on the page.
There has been negative talk of all the Not Available spots on some carts, so apparently PC thought we'd rather have duplicates than nothing at all. I would have preferred additional unique cuts, but the simple (single-layer) cuts are better than nothing at all.
