I am new to all this! I have been cutting mirri board but it isn't cutting through the paper on the back of the mirri board. I have the blade at 2 and the pressure at 5, speed 1 (it is the personal machine). Would I be better taking off the pressure a bit and increasing the blade depth as if I keep the pressure on 5 and put the blade to 3 it seems to drag the top of the card? I know I should just try it out but I wondered if there is a rule of thumb as to how this all works? thanks!

There is a table that I use as a guide for settings. I can't remember where I got it from but I am sure someone on here will help with that!

I am not familiar with the paper you are using. I do think you need to increase the depth of the blade to either 5 or 6, I might go a little faster with the speed as well. Does your machine do multi cuts? I would use that if it does make two passes with the blade not jut one. If all else fails you might want to get the deep cut blade for chip board and other thicker materials. Hope that helps. G

Thank-you, I am talking about the shiny mirror board card. I did buy the deep cut blade so I will try that, I think I need to change the mat as well!
