I just ordered a Cricut Expression and Gypsy, as well as a bunch of Carts, extra blades, deep cut Blade housing and blades and a toolkit. My Expression is being delivered today (Yeah!!!). Don't know the delivery date on the Gypsy yest. :o( I still need to get extra Mats and such, but I think I have enough supplies at home to give me a great card making weekend! Am I missing anything that I don't know about? I have lots of cardstock, paper, embellishes, etc from making cards so the new thing for me is the Cricut.
Interested in information that can be passed along to this newbie! Cheers, can't wait to browse the entire Community!
Thanks ~
Serina

WELCOME!!! Don't you just love this kind of excitement?!! Sounds like you have everything you need and then some. I'm pretty sure the spatula is part of the tool kit. Can't wait to see what you create. Nice to have you "on board" ....

If you can, buy 12 x 24 mats. The bigger mats are only a couple of dollars more than the 12 x 12 mats, but they are twice as big, so it's like getting 4 mats for the price of 2 1/4. You can still cut smaller stuff just fine, and except for vinyl, I have never printed beyond 12 inches.

Wow , you really are set! There are a lot of wonderful people here, a lot of great advice , and wonderful projects to scraplift . Make sure you have the right glue for your projects. I find that the xyron machines are great for the small stuff. I have both the 1.5 X and the 5 inch jobber and they have made my life so much easier. Also You will be hearing a lot about ATG guns which are wonderful to have ( great for card layers) , I could go on and on but the rest of the ladies will enable you of that you can be sure of! Welcome again and I can't wait to see what you make.

I agree with Gina...the xyron is the best!! I have both of these too!! just used both of them today! sounds like all you need is a Cuttlebug!! I know I am enabling, but that is what friends are for!
Hugs from Canada, Laurie
PS...You would love the ATG for adhesive too!!

Thank you everyone! I will look into the Xyron and add it to my Christmas List... Can't push hubby too far right now! I do have lots of glue and adhesive rollers, so I should get by for now. :) I will post my first completed project!
