How often do you use your Xyron? I used my Michaels 50% coupon today and got the 2.5" one (I saw the 5" one but I couldn't justify spending $25 for it...that's a new cartridge!). I wanted to use mine for glitter and flocking.

I have 4 different sizes of machines. I use them for letters or mor delicate cuts I don't want to rip or that I don't want to have to sit down and put adhesive on. I use the 510 and the 150 models the most. HTH.

I have 3 Xyron 150s, a Xyron 500, a Xyron 900, and another brand commercial 12" laminator that my husband bought at his place of employment when they went out of business. The one I use the most is the 150 (or little X-box)-- I just love that one. When I cut out letters on my Cricut, I just run them through the 150 to get adhesive on them. I have used the 12" laminator in the past to make garage sale signs and some papers for school. We used the 900 in the past to laminate some 8 1/2 x 11 printouts for school and also used the 900 for adhesives. My least used is the 500-- I hardly ever use that one.

I have 5 Xyrons. And I love them all and use them all on a regular basis.. My favorite is the little X to put letters and small things in. Then the next size up is the 250 and I love that one too... My 510 and 900 I dont use as often as the smaller ones but they come in handy when I am altering items.. My least favorite of all of them is the Cheetah.. It is great to permantly stick stuff to a page but you better make sure it is exactly where you want it and not crooked or you will ruin paper and pictures trying to take it off.. plus I think you cant find the refills for it anymore.. HTH

Thanks for your opinions ladies, I just used my 250 for the first time today and I LOVE it! It made gluing delicate letters so easy.

I just used my Xyron 500 (not 510, mine just add adhesives, no lamination) for about 5 different projects today. So I guess I do use it! Anyway, I LOVE my Xyrons!

I love my xyrons too! Because of my Rheumatoid Arthritis...I needed something that made the gluing easier...gripping the tiny pieces while gluing was difficult for me. I use my X and 510 all the time! When using a coupon, it is affordable...and makes a project look very professional.

Just got a 5" for $6.00 without adhesive and a 1 1/2" for $5.00 with the adhesive at a scrapbooking garage sale. Now I will have to stock up on refills when I get coupons. They work great. Also scored a like new Creative Memories guillotine cutter for $6.00. Oh and lots of great paper packs for $5.00. Made my day.
