I am trying to cut 1" circles with my Plantin SchoolBook cartridge - instead of buying a 1" punch lol - but my circle keeps cutting out of round. They look squashed like the 2 arcs of the circle halves do not match up so there are small points at each side of the circle. I have tried cutting all sizes of circles and at all different speeds. Any size over 2" seems to be OK, but the smaller the circle the worse the distortion. Has anyone else had this problem? Please let me know... Thanks!!

I cut 290 circles for some wedding favors and found out that they are not perfect circles.I used them anyway but it was weird. I thought is was just me because I cut so many!

Ahhh interesting!! I did send a message to ProvoCraft CS about this to see what they have to say about it. I thought since my cartridge was older maybe it was defective or something. But, in my opinion a die cutter that costs this much plus cost of cartridge should cut perfect circles! LOL I will post whatever info I get back from ProvoCraft. Thanks for your response tho! Now I know I'm not crazy.
