(I tried searching on the old board for the answer but they've disabled the search function for me)
Help! I'm ready to tear my hair out. I've been trying to cut out faces, hands, etc. of 4 1/2" characters for the last 2 days but the blade is catching my Bazzill cardstock and tearing the pieces.
I've tried a new blade, a new deep-cut blade, different speeds/pressure/blade depth and nothing is working! I'm already putting the cardstock smooth-side up. The best combo so far seems to be multi-cut, deep cut blade, min speed, max pressure, blade depth 4.
Is building 4 1/2" characters too small? :(
Any tips? The local LSS isn't so local to me :( so all I have is Bazzill cardstock.

I read to also make sure that the arrow on the blade housing is pointing out...not off to the side. Try that. I can't stand using the Bazzill in my Cricut for small pieces. I use smooth open stock card stock from Hobby Lobby.

Check out pinkcricut.com. There is a cutting guide for cutting on different papers etc. It tells you what speed and pressure setting to use. Hope that helps!
