Theme: Recall a Christmas song from your Childhood or present day that you just love (for example: I saw Momma Kissing Santa Claus; Jingle Bells; Silent Night; The First Noel) and pick a line or 2 or even the title to create a 2 page 12"x12" scrapbook Layout. The 2- page layout should give you enough room to cut the words or phrases so that you will not feel the cramping pressure.

Due: November 1, 2010
What you need to make:

1. 12 -Two Page Layouts

2. 4- Matted Photo mats ( Layer one nice piece of cardstock over the other, be creative with sizes or shapes: 3"x3". 2.5"x3, 4"x6".

3. 1 Journal Box

4. Words/Lines to create your "Page Title" and they need to be attached to sturdy cardstock.

5. 4 Cut-outs (need to be ****embled and able to use right away)- please use quality paper, cardstock, glues, bling, etc. They need to be at least 2 inches or taller.

6. 3 Different Types of "Extras"- Extras include: Ribbon, brads, bling, ornaments, fibers, bows, chipboard, buttons, charms, multi-dimensional stickers, feathers etc.

7. You need to bag your "kit" and mark your name on the bag, along with your Page Title Name.

8. Please ****emble your "page" and take a photo of it, either post it on this thread or print it out so your fellow swappers know the direction in which you envisioned. If you can't include a photo, please make a sketch and include that with your "kit".

9. Please no post-dated or metered mail for postage. THe best way that I have seen on the MB shipping "etiquette" is to include enough $$ or stamps plus the cost or 2 first class postage stamps. Flat rate seems to be the going theme these days and so I have enough "supplies" for that since I ordered it.


This should be a really fun swap. As you complete your pages, please post the pics here. I will be adding a surprise to everyone's package.

1. You do NOT send the 12"x12" paper, only the elements to create your pages.

2. Quality materials MUST be used.

3. Include a pic or sketch of your 2-page LO.

4. Include shipping.

5. Your song doesn't have to be "well-known" but if it isn't please feel free to print a sheet of your song music to include for the page. Perhaps this will become a new "Tradition" in your fellow swappers family.

6. Create something that you are truly proud of because not only is this for you but it will become a wonderful memory for future generations.

This is so very beautiful. My LO's are not taking pics very well, will need to work on that. But everything is cut and ready just need the camera to working.
