I am a certified copic instructor. I have taken both the beginning and introductory class. I love coloring Magnolia Tildas and Edwins and I have a lot of flowers. I would be willing to send you some if you would like and try to answer any questions you have about copics

Suzanne Dean offers some very good online classes, they run around $50

The best advice I can give you is practice, practice, practice. After that you need to have the right paper. If you use the wrong paper you will just frustrate yourself. I prefer Cryogen white or copic paper. The ink needs to kind of "sit" on top of the paper before it dries that way you can blend the colors. And keep adding ink, copics are layered on top of each other the more ink the better they blend! Keep the paper somewhat "wet". If you turn the paper over you should be able to see the ink bleeding thru to the back. If either of you live near CT I would be glad to help you in person.

Jean
I live in Moosup, CT, part of Plainfield. I am 5 min to RI border just north of Foxwoods. I would be glad to help you after the holiday. I am actually on vacation until Jan 2 so I would be available during that week or any Sat/Sun after that.

Let me know
