Where do you find transfer paper to use with the vinyl? And how do you use it? Dumb questions? I haven't tried vinyl yet.

You can find transfer tape usually with anyone that sells vinyl: If you shop on line: H & H Sign; craftvinyl.com,

Some Walmarts carry Cricut Transfer tape it is usually besides the vinyl.
Micheals, Joanns, and HL carry it also.


Lets see if I can explain this where it makes sense LOL
1. You cut your image
2. Weed through it meaning take off extra vinyl
3. Place you transfer tape over project
4. Burnish it so it sticks to the transfer tape
5. Place project where you want it - tile, wall, etc,
6. I tape it using painters tape to make sure it is straight
7. Lift and take off vinyl backing
8. Carefully lay transfer tape w/ vinyl down and burnish to project.

I hope this makes sense to you - there are great videos on youtube. CardmakerLeslie has information on her blog and My Vinyl Designer has tutorials (I think) HTH Debbie :)

I just bought my first transfer tape from craftvinyl.com but for the past year I've been using clear contact paper to transfer my image from the mat to whatever surface I was using
