All you need is internet access (doesn't have to be Wi-Fi...which is used when you have a computer that you want to travel outside your home with) AND an Expression or a MINI or other machines designed after the Expression (I believe; don't think you can use earlier machines with CCR).

You have to connect your CRICUT to your computer using the USB port on your computer. You have to have a cord designed for it (don't know the terminology).....either one that came with your machine or a printer cord (my printer cord didn't work when I first started in CCR, so I had to ask PC to send me one that went with my Expression).

Next, you'll need to update your CRICUT using Sync. Then, you can download CCR from the homepage of cricut.com.

What kind of computer do you have? How much GB Ram? What CRICUT machine are you using?

CCR will work with all machines - even the very first Original.

You can use a printer cable to connect your Cricut to your computer. As long as you have internet access (since CCR will only work via the internet) your Cricut will be able to communicate with CCR once it's plugged in to your computer. You don't need any special gizmos.

You will probably need to update your machines firmware. It's not a big deal really.
