I got so tired of saying "where is this" that I've started labeling my handbooks in "Battleship" style. I only have to do it once per two pages but it is SOOOOOO nice to be able to quickly find where on the keypad a certain image is at. This is especially helpful on the cartridges without any fonts. Create A Critter & Animal Kingdom were the first two to get "Battleshipped" I see Cricut has jumped on this and there's a little keypad locator icon on each page. So I just put R for Row 1-5 and B for Button 1-10. The cute Bumblebee is Row 5, Button 5 Edited by user Thursday, September 30, 2010 7:39:23 PM(UTC)

That's a great idea! TFS! When a cart has what I call a "buried" font, as in it's a feature and won't show on the keypad, I just take that keypad off and put one from a font cart on. I prop the original overlay above, because the last row is always different stuff, but it sure helps with the alphabet part. Heritage is a perfect example of this, and I do it all the time. A lot of the older carts have the fonts in alpha order instead of qwerty in the book, so your "battleshipping" is great for these, too! I love these boards, you always get such great ideas from people willing to share their ingenuity!
