I just got a J's flyer in the mail today and it even had my name and addy on it. The thing is i don't live near a j's. I whimpered a little and then I moved on.
too bad they look like they have some cool classes.

I know the feeling ... I get the e-mails from Archivers, but we don't even have that store in our state ... so I forward mine to another Cricut member that has one near her. For some reason, although she's signed up for the e-mails several times, she never gets them ... go figure!
The same applies to ACM ... I was a regular shopper there, but they closed our store. For some reason, their e-mails keep coming!
The samething with e-mails from Hobby Lobby ... but as luck has it, a new HL opened up about 2 miles away! YIPPEE

I sign up for all the stores emails, even those that aren't near me. I like having all the coupons handy in case I am traveling (like this weekend) to a town that has a store (like ACM) not in my area. Heck, I even have an ACM reward card and generally only use it three or four times a year but still manage to spend enough to get a gift card! (There is an ACM on the way to the beach house so we stop going and coming back.) I have a Js practically in my back yard and get their emails and snail mail flyers. But when I was at Creative Escape, another attendee gave me some Js coupons that were good til Jan 2011 (!) because she didn't live near a Js. I had never seen the flyer she had!  JoAnns coupons are good for online ordering too....they have more online than they do in the store.

Not that it will make you feel better, but not all Joann's have classes. The store by me never did, and now that they are in a huge space with lots of room for classes they still don't! I would have to drive 1.5 hours for a Joann's with classes.

I KNOW the feeling, my family just moved from Hawaii (we were there for 3 years) and there was No Michaels, No Joann's, NO AC Moore, No Target (finally got the last 6 months we were on island) and my personal fav No OLIVE GARDEN, but we still saw commercials daily! So Cruel
