AFTER WAITING 29 DAYS to receive my cartridge that I won from proudparents2005, EBAY found in my favor and refunded my money. I had hoped to receive my cartridge but it appears proudparents2005 either did not respond to my complaint when Ebay contacted them or they were unwilling to send it to me. They never responded to my emails before I filed a complaint with Ebay and Paypal.

I will never buy from them again or their parent companies cricutmachine.com; happyclan or others mentioned in my original post: Ebay sellers: proudparents2005.Angry Angry Angry Mad

PS: Just left my negative feedback on Ebay and found that these folks have 102 negative feedback comments left in the last 30 days. Yesterday an individual left feedback that her products won the end of August have still not been shipped. With all their parent ebay sellers, I wonder if they will just change their name if their reputation gets so bad under proudparents2005. I will be leary of sellers with few sales by their name in the future just in case.

Smart lady! It really is stressful from the time you start bidding, winning bid, waiting for delivery wondering if your getting what was described. Guess I am too old for all this new stuffBigGrin BigGrin BigGrin

The problem with them is the 100+ recent negatives really has no negative consequences for them. People see that they have 100000+ sales (I can't remember exactly how many they have!) and a 99.5% rating and think that they're great. And I'm happy for all those people that have never had issues but I was one of those unfortunate 100 (there were probably close to 100 negative the month I had issues too!) that never got my cart and had to file a claim. I just wish something could be done to them. If they're having 50-100 negatives a month, something needs to be done!

AMEN! Thats why I thought it important to let folks know how many negatives they received in the last 30 days. Your information here is also an eye opener for folks to BEWARE. TFS

Sorry you had a bad experience. I won Simply Charmed from them last week and just got the cart today. It was my first purchase from them. It is so odd to see some people had a good experience, and others a bad one. Your warning will make me leery of them in the future. Thank you.

i wonder since they sold so much...and since some people had great experiences (i'm one of them...pp2005 was my go-to ebay seller for carts) if possibly there is more than one person/group mailing these out.

could be that they are set up for the auctions to go to different people for packaging and mailing. and could be that some of the people aren't reliable or even honest...who knows?

I bought the Calendar cartridge from happyclan5 on 9/14, promptly paid within minutes of winning via paypal and still have not gotten a shipment email or the cartridge. Just sent my second email to them requesting my cartridge, information or something (no response to first). The weird thing is I have purchased other carts from proudparents2005 since then and gotten them no problem (I did not know they were all the same company).

This is exactly why I've suggested to Ebay that it would be nice to have a way for users to quickly get to the negative comments without searching through 1000's of other comments. I don't think we'll ever see this implemented as I'm sure it would be a heated topic.Unsure

Here is a link to KS Marketing Inc.
http://ksmarketinginc.com/about/brands.html

KS's Brands are:
Paper Crafting Pro
Cricutmachine.com
Die Cut Central
Yudu Style
CGull

and
Verotronics

They are sellers on ebay known as (this is all I could find):
proudparents2005
happyclan5
momshomemadecrafts
and
craftnmom2002

As I was looking in to them, I noticed several mentions of people purchasing through cricutmachine.com and die cut central and stating that once they purchase with them with their credit cards, their cards were hacked in to and hundreds to thousands of dollars were charged to their cards. I don't know all of the facts like when or how, but I heard that if you were to purchase from them to use Paypal. Just and FYI...

Sorry to hear that you had such a problem with them, but glad you got your money back. Ebay is trusted in that fact.

I've order from them lots of times and never had a major problem.

I won two carts from them about a month ago and it did take longer than normal to get the cart but it was just Cricut Cartridges so I didn't mind.

I am absolutely shocked. I have purchased 80% of my cartridges through them because they are so reliable. I have also received about 6 cartridges in the last month with no incident. I am happy that you rec'd your money back because I have been in the same situation with a different company before and I know what a pain it is. I am just disapointed that my favorite seller is doing this to their customers. Thanks for the heads up.

This is my first ever post on this forum. That's because I still don't have a Cricut... due to this exact same situation!! I ordered from Proudparents on 8/28 and immediately paid with Paypal. Ironically they even gave me a positive review. I don't buy from EBay often and was definitely mislead by the 99.5% rating. I won't bore you with all of the details but the bottom line is that the communication was horrible and I had to use EBay's case resolution. Fortunately, I did get my money back. However, I have had projects on stand still waiting for it. This was my b-day present. I just ordered another one from another EBay seller and I'm hoping for the best. It appears that it has shipped and I am crossing my fingers that I get it tomorrow.

I am shocked as well..I have purchased so many carts from them too many to count and never had an issue..Thanks for the warning I will have to watch this more closely...no one likes to be taken for a ride thats for sure.....I am so happy EBAY sided in your favor they are really good like that they look at all the facts and then decide...I have a case open right now on Ebay I was the seller and the buyer has not paid me nor will she answer any invoice I send or emails so I just turned it over to EABY to resolve and then I will need to relist my item for sale..

Once you go to the sellers profile and see the reviews broken down by date, just click on the negative reviews and that's all you will see.

That recently happened to me after a purchase from cricutmachine.com. We had two $4,000 purchases on our card. Thankfully our c.c. company took care of the charges.

They have had 14866 sales this month and 104 negative feedbacks. For those 104 buyers, yourself included, thats unexceptable. But it is less than 1%. That means that 99%+ are happy with their purchases, myself included. I will continue to purchase from them because they have great prices and so far (knock on wood)haven't had a problem. Since when is a rating of 99.5 bad? I'm not un sympathatic to you, just looking at it from a different perspective.
