Since linked carts are openly for sale on PC's own MB, is it a safe assumption thats PC has changed the gypsy EULA and selling linked carts is okay?

How about an official response from PC....... this question has been asked several times over the last six months; but, there have been no official response.

I remember that being discussed. I have never heard or seen anything official either.

Well, if PC is O.K. with us selling our Linked Cartridges on the MB's, then they should allow us to unlink our Gypsy Linked Cartridges, so they can be linked to CCR.

Obviously PC is either NOT enforcing the EULA or they never did, and everyone was just afraid of being sued by PC.

Was reading on a page on FB and someone had there listings pulled off of Ebay for selling linked carts so someone is paying attention, then a few more people posted that they too had there items pulled. It is strange that they sell them right on this forum, maybe noone has been reported.

Also saw where someone paid $1000 for a Gypsy, think she updated it and ofcourse she lost all of those carts on it, OUCH.

I'd like to know too. I am selling a linked cart (posted on this board and on eBay). But I'm not the one that linked it, I bought it already linked. So I couldn't even technically sell it with the linked gypsy cause I don't have a gypsy or the one it's linked too. Very confusing conundrum. Flapper

I wouldn't worry about it, there are hundreds of Cartridge owners, that sell their linked Cartridges on this MB, EBay, Craigslist and anywhere else they want.

I would hope PC would direct their attention to fixing their problems then maybe people wouldn't be selling their Cricut products.

Hello all! We have not changed the EULA and it is still a violation of the EULA and copyright infringement to sell a linked cartridge or GYPSY device and retain the other. I hope that this answers your question!

Well, PC sure isn't enforcing their policy, on their own MB!

I'm sure you can understand why customers are confused, when PC only enforces their EULA Policy for some and NOT for others. Confused

Is this called Selective Enforcement? RollEyes Just saying...

I have also wondered why it is enforced for some but not for others. When I was looking to sell my Gyspy WITH the carts I checked listings and watched a few of them to get a feel for the prices before listing and noticed that some were removed while others remained. There wasn't really a difference other than the amount of carts. It seemed like the ones that had well over 100 carts listings were pulled, while the ones that had less than 120 or so are still on there. I don't think it's right to pick and choose who can & can't sell their Gyspy and/or linked cartridges. It should be the same for everyone.

Thanks, Gena, for the response....... But to be honest, your response just added more to owner confusion!!! Why are people being allowed to violate the EULA right on PC's own message board? Can we please get some kind of consistent answer and policy and practices here? I am trying to do the right thing by PC even though I feel that PC has not given me the same respect and kept their commitments to me. I would really like this situation clarified......

Thanks and a good weekend to all :-)))

Yeah. I thought someone said in the past that it WAS ok (not a regular board poster) and that's why people stated both on here and ebay. Confused.
