Is there anyway to access the Cricut Craft Room from a remote computer? IOW, I'm going to be at a friend's house and I wanted to show her how the Cricut works, but I realized that the Craft Room is accessed from the desktop icon, which, obviously, will not be on her computer! :)

You can design with it but can not cut until you are at the computer that is attached to you account. It will save all of you info. If you want to do it let me know and I'll post the how tos for it. I'll go ahead and tell you how since it also may help someone else... Click the Craft Room button at the top of this site. It will take you to info about CCR. Scroll down to the very bottom where it asks about an online version. Click there. It will open up and have a link marked here. If you click on it it will take you to the online only version. You can design and then save it for when you get to your computer where you have CCR downloaded. DO NOT download it onto their computer with your account since I've heard you can only have two computers and that would take away that future option for you. If you guys plan on cutting today your friend will need to download it to their computer after they set up a Cricut account. Hoope this helps. D- Edited by user Friday, March 15, 2013 3:16:08 PM(UTC)

Why not just have her set up an account in her name and go ahead and download it to her computer? Take a few cartridges with you (or your Gypsy if you have one ) - let her design and play with the carts you bring along. If she likes what she sees, she can still play with CCR after you've left. If she isn't interested - then she can just delete the program. No loss to you.
