I just received the simple Cards and Creative Cards cartridges and am looking forward to making some great cards. My question is how do I cut the envelopes the right size to fit the cards? Is there a simple way to do this?
I appreciate any assistance. Thank you!

Whatever size you make the card in.. Lets say 4" cut the envelope feature at the same size 4" and you'll be fine Lori

Yep - Lori is right! I just played with this cartridge this past weekend and cut the envelope to the same height as I cut the card, and it worked. Just make sure to use the correct envelope that corresponds with the correct card on the tri-fold... I accidentally used the envelope above, and the card wouldn't fit. I think you need to use the envelope listed on the tri-fold after the card... Make sense? Not all envelopes fit all cards. I wish they would hurry up with the Gypsy download for these 2 cartridges!!!

thank you both for the help. wasn't sure if that would work as I have tried it on other cartridges with envelopes and they didn't fit at the same size as the card. I will go try it out.

However, if you are using your CRICUT manually, I thought you sized the envelope first and then you paid attention what the sizing said on the display and you cut your card the sizing it told you on the display. In CCR, I just make my envelopes about 1/16" bigger than the bases of my cards, if I'm not going to use too many embellishments. If I were making the card thicker, I might go up another 1/8". Char

Char So how would we size the envelopes with the cards using the Gypsy?

I'm waiting for this answer too. Envelopes are confusing to me.
