Get yourself an adaptor and you can use a usb cable. http://www.mycablemart.c...m=product_list&c=169http://www.mycablemart.c...roduct_detail&p=3966The things are really inexpensive. Maybe you could order a few and split the cost with others that are having the same problem. Mary

Mary I am looking at the links that were in your post and I don't think those cables would work...the end connections are not right. Here is the item that is needed.

You'll need to get a cable with the printer end (square end that connects into the cricut) and a usb end (the rectangle shaped end that would normally plug into your computer). Then connect the square printer end to your cricut and connect the adaptor to the usb end and your gypsy into the adaptor. Hope that makes sense. The gypsy cable would be the best way to go, but if you cannot find one and you need something, this may do in a pinch. Mary Of course, you'll need to purchase the correct adapter in order for this to work. Edited by user Sunday, March 03, 2013 6:35:11 PM(UTC)

Here is the item that is needed. I got out my Gypsy and tried a cell phone cord with the mini end and it fit into my Gypsy. So I think an adapter with the mini end on it would work just like what Mary has suggested. HTH

And, if you do try it Teresa and it works, make sure to spread the word around here. It sounds like others are having the same problem.

I found it here: http://dooropenersandmor...0-cord-can-link-gypsy-to It's from a security company, but the seller says the figured out that it would work on his wife's Gypsy.
