I've had my Expression for 2 years. We moved last year and it was in the box for the last year in the closet. I just took it out and tried to turn it on and it was dead...nothing... Has anyone had this problem or know of this happening. I mean I really only used it for a year and it sat for a year. And yes it was killing me that all my craft stuff was packed and i had no place to create...until now! And now I can't create! I'll have to call Provo but any suggestions would be appreciated!! TIA!!!

I guess the first thing I would do is try to figure out if it was the power cord. Do you know anyone with an E?

Are you using an outlet that works? I mean, if you never use it for anything else, maybe you can try to plug your "E" in somewhere else in the house where you are certain the outlet works.
Is it possible you can try to reset it. I know it's a long shot, but maybe the lights will light up just pressing the reset button.
Hope you get it working.
I just posted on another thread I saw the "E's" at Menard's for $199. Perhaps PC can rework yours; don't know if they do that. Just bear in mind, if they are wanting around $200, you might be better off buying a new one with warranty at Menard's or somewhere else you can get one for a reasonable price.

Mine did this the other day after physically moving it from one space to another. I went through the reset even though the power didn't work when it says to turn it on. After that it worked. It is worth a try. I am still having power issues like it is over powering and it needs to run out of juice, but if I unplug it for a while it works again. http://myfaqcricutds.blo...01/resetting-cricut.html Good Luck!

My brand new expression died. I used it once and the the next time I turned it on, it wouldn't do anything. Boo hoo!!! The power light comes on and that is it. I was so excited to get it and now I am so disappointed.

Call PC. I had a problem about 6 months ago and they raplaced it FOR FREE. It's worth a shot. The onyl problem is waiting for it to come. They ship really fast but still it's so tough to wait even a few days. I never realized how much I used my machine until I didn't have it those coupe of days.

Uff, mine is having the same problem. The last time I used it was a while ago and now I plugged it in and nothing. I'll try the reset sequence to see if it works for me too. Fingers crossed!!!!

I did call provo on Sept. 28. I still don't have my replacement. But I called again today, and they said it was being processed.

I was so excited to get it and now I am so disappointed. My brand new one did the same thing. I called PC and we tried a software update via the Design Studio...nothing. Then we did a reset and again nothing. They ended up shipping me a brand new one. Definitely give PC a call. Their customer service is great!
