Does anyone use the program MemoryMixer for digital scrapbooking? I don't want to do digital scrapbooking really, I just want to be able to do some other digital stuff and have some questions. I want to know if that program will allow me to create things like you see in the following links??? If anyone can help me out, it would be greatly appreciated. I do not know what programs are out there that will do this type of thing but I thought this sounded like a program that might be able to do what I want. Or if you know of another program that will do this kind of stuff and if fairly simple to use, please share. Thanks! You could use MS Paint - it is listed under accessories. (I am assuming you have a WIndows computer) Most of those things you linked to are available as free printables also. Printable Menu PlannersWhen searching for things like this - use Google Image search - makes it so much faster!

Hi, You sound like me a year ago: I didn't really want to digital scrapbook- but I wanted to do projects and crafty stuff on a digital system. I have a mac-- so that limited me
I looked a Memory Mixer-- and thought this was what I wanted.
But then I saw Creative Memories-- creative memories now uses "Universal" and creates "universal' (JPG/PNG) artwork-- but they dropped MAC version so I was totally bummed.
THEN, Stampin' Up upgraded it's older style digital platform last Summer...
I went with MDS2.0 (My Design Studio) from Stampin' Up and I really enjoy it. I purchase Creative Memories digiart along with Stampin Up digiart and I troll the internet for cool art. I find lots for free and pay a little here and there.
It is VERY VERY EASY TO USE- but you do not create individual things- Paint, Adobe Creative Suite, Paint are harder to learn- My husband has them on his computer and he CREATES images and stuff from scratch!! I just want to mess around with images already done-- like the stuff on your links!
I have been making various crafty projects for myself and family-- kind of like 1-page scrapbooking stuff and then framing it. I print at Costco for $1.99 for an 8x8- or 13 centers for a 4x6.
LOVE IT!!!!

Hi, Me again-- so having said all that about MDS from Stampin Up.
I want to point out that I used PowerPoint ALL THE TIME TOO and LOVE IT!
For a 'free' version of Powerpoint and MS Office, visit OpenOffice.org This open source version of MS Office, includes a PowerPoint like platform.

Thanks Christine for you input. I think I am leaning toward the MemoryMixer program but still on the fence if it is what I want or not.
