Desperately in need of USED Scrabble tiles for a word collage I am making for my MIL.....Want the original, wooden ones. I realize I could buy them from the craft store, but I am really trying to find used ones. I only need the tiles, so even if you do not have a complete set, I could still use them. I always ask at yard sales if they have any, I buy them when ever I can find them, the price always seems to be high, (now that people know we use them for crafts):-( How many are you looking for? and price range, I will look and see what I have in my jug. I know I have a full set of Red-ish tiles, I had to buy the game with the turn table in order to get the red tiles. I paid $10.00, for them, so if you want them, you can have them for $10.00 + 2 postage. I know it's a high price, but it's what I paid. I have yet to do the project that I had intended, But I can do the same project with the other tiles in my collection.

Thanks for all the info. I have been looking at yard sales and Goodwill, and other re-use places. I am looking for the natural wood ones, so I appreciate the offer, but the red ones will not work. I want used ones as well, seems silly, I know, but I like ones that have obviously been well used and loved. I even have some with little gnaw marks on them! And yes, I know I could distress them myself, but I would know. I want a history attached to the gift I am giving, oh wow, this is silly, sorry to be so fussy. I hope you understand. You get in your head what you want to do, and just have to stick to it! GG

Yes, as I mentioned in the post before yours, I know I could distress them myself, and that is probably what I will end up having to do for some particular letters. This community is so large, and so helpful, I was just hoping someone might have an extra Scrabble game laying around. Thanks! GG
