My son has to make a 3d model of saturn. I know I can use a ball but I want to try using the solar system cartridge. Any ideas on how to make it look 3d.

Maybe cut a variety of size saturns is pairs and suspend them through the centre - I can't find a good picture to show you - I will link the eh one. But also found another idea that might work http://creamy-cewie.devi...art/3D-Circles-201489562 http://www.google.ca/img...=23&tx=71&ty=102I know its not the right way to embed and attach, but the usual way is not working! yes equally spaced pairs - for example if you wanted your planet to be 5 inches wide - you would start with on "planet" cut at 5 inches, 2 at maybe 4 1/2, 2 at 4, 2 at 3 1/3, etc, until you get to however small you want the bottom or top to be. Then you would sandich them - kind of like this
- --- ----- --- -
You would space them though so the shape wouldn't be oblong. Does that make sense?
