Is it just me or did prices jump recently? I'd been following several carts in the $20 and under range and now all seem to be going for more. Guess the back-to-school lull is over.

They jumped a lot. Too rich for my blood. I think retailers were reducing inventory to get ready for the Imagine stuff. Just 2 weeks ago there was very little Imagine stuff on ebay. Now there's a ton.

Everything picks up on eBay starting around the mid/end September every year. Things will die back down around the end of December. January will be good to pick up bargains again.

I think this is normal, they usually jump up around now until christmas, people doing holiday shopping. etc...

I still won't go over $20. I got Freshly Picked for $16 on Sunday and From My Kitchen and Once Upon a Princess for $15 on Saturday night. I only have 4 more carts I want but they just keep going for more and more on ebay. I'll be patient.

Not just you. I think the increase in price was also due to the Imagine launch. Some people thought PC would Disc. carts for the old machines. Prior to the launch I was getting carts for $12-15. Also because Christmas is just about 13 weeks away! Scarey thought isn't it ladies?

I agree! I think it has to do with the Imagine launch...guess I'll have to wait until January to get new carts :)

I've noticed that prices have jumped too. I've also noticed that it's taking longer to receive my items.

I also see quite often I may be the only bidder then at the end it jumps up like crazy between me and 1 person. Almost makes me think they have another name bidding for them to just up the prices. But I set my price at 20 and no higher. So they end up losing out and having to relist if thats what they are doing and quite often i will get a message the item is relisted. I knwo you can't ever tell if thats happening but seems awful fishy to me.

I was wondering the same thing! They have gotten higher, even on the old ones. I just paid 13.50 for the independence cartridge and right after july, i saw it on there for as low as 4.44. I say we ban together and hold out until they drop those prices again. I have almost 100 cartridges and I have never seen these prices this high (on the older ones)

As a sometimes seller, I can tell you that the little message about relisting comes up if you have listed the same item more than once.

well i'm glad i won the 5 carts i wanted the second week of setpember. i got 5 carts and 2 cuttlebug folders for 92.00. i think that's good.

I have never been able to get the carts so cheap on ebay. I don't go on there that often so that is probably why. I am usually happy with anything under $30 including shipping.

oh thats ok if you wait till the end because I do too. But sometimes it just seems funny and I am talking about everything I purchase on ebay not just carts and some items are odd ball things that not alot of people would really want. LOL

It fluctuates often! I find that the prices rise after big releases of machines, sales elsewhere, etc. Anything that gets new people buying machines or thinking about cartridges seems to make the prices go up.
I won't pay over $17 for any cart on ebay with shipping unless it's something that goes for significantly higher and there is no chance. I paid $22.50 for create a critter which is very reasonable and one of the cheaper prices it goes for on ebay even before the price increases started.
