Ok update from the Post Office. Went back to our local office today and they did not have it and checked this time. They told me to go to the main Post Office and they looked and no sign of it. Was given the phone number to call the carrier and just got off the phone with him. He remembered delivering a package to my son but said he had nothing for me. I questioned him about the fact it said notice was left and so late at night. He said that the supervisor does that because they have to stop the clock on the package. If it does not show up today I gave to call tomorrow.

Got my card from Lori - THANK YOU! Lots of little details; it's very nice! What cart is the man cut from? At first I thought it was fussy cut from a paper line like A Proper Gentleman but then I noticed all the little pieces are dimensional. Not sure I'd have the patience for that CraftyOldBat attached the following image(s):

Yay I received my card from Cindy. I love it Cindy, it is positively beautiful. I took pictures and will attempt to post them after dinner. My computer keeps freezing up and I fear it is time for a new one. I guess Windows 8 here I come.

COB - I am so glad you love your card!! That proper gentleman is from the Art Deco cartridge. He is so dapper :) My inspiration was The Great Gatsby and Roaring Twenties. I can't wait till the movie comes out. Thanks for choosing such a great theme! Kelly - the doily is made from the Martha Stewart Circle Edger. The cartridge (which is what they call them) is called Diamond Lake. I got it as an HSN special. I saw it and had to have it. It is pretty easy to use - believe it or not.

Cindy and Lori thank you for your kind words. I used the March cut apart sheet from the G45 Place in Time collection both sides of the paper. I cut apart the phrase border strip for the words on the bottom of the card. I used only from stash - the words lucky were letter brads I had in my stash for 7 years - lol. I also used three lonely little green half back pearls that I almost threw away because I just had a sheet of just those three left forever.
I am making a project with the remainder of the March sheet. I am really trying to use what I have.
Lori, again great job on that card. I am still drooling. Cindy cannot wait to see yours. Denise beautiful creation - love all the flowers. Did you make those? I am always jealous of those who can make flowers - the ones I have tried to make look like a three year old made them - LOL.

Denise - I am so happy you like it... I have to confess it didn't dawn on me that I didn't make a circle card until after I mailed it... For some reason, I just got stuck on making a twisted easel card and totally forgot the circle part.... Geez its on the title of the swap and everything... Hope Kelley forgives me for breaking the rules :) Lori - thanks; it was actually pretty easy to do - just create the fold on the diagonal (of course I got lots of inspiration from youtube and google images )

I am totally fine with you tweeking things a bit. The directive was to make a circle card, but the bigger directive is to make something your partner will enjoy! You did exactly that. It is a beautiful card. Same concept - different shape

Candy -- Have you received my card yet? When I went to the post office, they wouldn't let me put a tracking # on it due to size and weight (wasn't big enough). I have never had that happen before. Anyway, you should have received it by now. I am really hyperventilating right now because I don't want to cut it close if I have to redo it. I guess I will have to send it priority to make sure you get it which was rather ridiculous for a card and pay almost $6 to mail it. The postage situation is not good right now. We have so much trouble in our neighborhood. Mail is always messed up. Sad but true. Hope that you have good news for me -- have a great week.

I asked at my PO when I mailed Lori's 1st class and they said I could it just cost an extra 90 cents. Weird they told you no? Lori's is out for delivery; hope she likes it!

Evelyn - Please don't worry and certainly no hyperventalating necessary - The mail date isn't until the 23rd as we gave it two extra weeks. If you mailed before the due date you (which you certainly did) you are totally fine. I am sure it will get there safely. It maybe just taking the scenic route If it doesn't get there by the 23rd, we'll come up with plan B. Just a note - through trial and error I make my due dates the last day to mail rather than the date to get to your partner. I have just found that there are circumstances such as this where once you put it in the mail it is pretty much out of your control. So this way as long as you mailed by the 23rd you would not be considered a flaker

Also Candy doesn't get the mail everyday if you used her US address. She actually lives in Canada and she or her hubby usually cross the border and grab the mail only once or sometimes twice a week. No worries!

COB, oh my goodness! What a beautifully sweet card!!! The pics reminded me of two of my three loves: Anders and Matthew. Butterflies always remind me of Tom, my husband. We went to the Museum of Natural History on our first date and there was a butterfly exhibit. If this a result of going in "a bit of direction," I hope you do it more often because it was super thoughtful. It is the circle card I didn't know I wanted. I can't wait to display it when I am done with my craft room overhaul. Funny story: While I was admiring it, I told Anders that the pictures reminded me of him and Matthew, my two babies. Anders frowned and said, "No. Matthew is the baby." "You both will always be my babies." He frowned again, but answered kind of exasperated, "Ok, mama." LOL, I guess at two and half, he is quite grown.

Oh yay, I'm so relieved that you like it! You asked for a "Spring" card but when I saw your MQ and that you had 2 baby boys (sorry Anders!)I just HAD to use G45 Little Darlings paper. It was a happy coincidence that the colors worked to your preferences. Thanks for doing this swap Kel, these cards are fun and easy; I'm glad I know how to make them now. Can't wait to see the rest of the pics.

The card you made Lori is beautiful. I love it. The banner across the top is a cute idea. **************** Everyone I opened a pocket full of tags/clipboard tag swap. This will be fun and easy as well. I have seen lots and they come out so cool/beautiful. I hope you will come join me. I think I will extend the due date until the 15th as the spring time is busy for a lot of people.
