JCI. I had to rearrange my craft room and haven't started but am planning on getting busy this week but I am a little stumped as to what to do. I haven't been able to find too much inspiration on You Tube.

Big waves to Kathy! I will keep an eye out for my silverware. I worked on yours. I have to go to plan B since the silverware is too heavy for plan A. I should finish up my the end of the week and get it in the mail.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

I am sure whatever you create will be beautiful. Glad to hear you got the knife, it was a kind of sentimental piece in our family. I only have one more peice from that set left. But I knew you would like the aged, grunginess of it. Have a great day Kathy

I got a beautiful altered knife yesterday from Kathy... And I do love the grunginess of the blade!! Thank you again!! No Dibbs!!The small picture doesn't come up any larger when you click on it. I don't know why... I'm doing the same darn thing I've been doing for the past year when I upload a picture! But I put the linked picture so you can click on that and see it bigger. I picked up a fork from the Salvation Army this past Saturday - just like the style better for what I had in mind. Finally was able to drill a hole and painted it with gesso... now I need to put things together...and hopefully it will look as good as it does in mind

JCI Hi everyone. I had my silverware in the box to mail, and made the mistake of peeking at it one more time, and decided to tweak it a little bit more. The hardest part I think is deciding when you are truly done. ( especially if one is a perfectionist, or a little unsure)

Thanks for thew nice comments ladies, I am so relieved that Kim liked it, I knew the age and the grunge would be right up her alley. I think that knife is older than me, it is the 2nd last one like it I have. I always remeber it being around our house. But now it's in Kim's

Big waves to my partner JCreate. I found the PERFECT piece of silverware for you. I can't wait to send it. Am working like an elf to get it done so you can see it soon. I was just stunned when I found it. I love this swap. It has been fun planning for it and gathering all the items just to make it right for my partner. This is why I love to swap so much. It's so much FUN.
Evelyn

Hello all! Sorry I've been MIA for a bit! Baby Brother has been dealing with allergy and teething issues so getting to a computer with a crabby, clingy baby has been a challenge. I had big plans to get started on my silverware today since the boys are at daycare and instead I got caught up organizing my craft room. It's starting to be usable again! Woohoo!
