Thank you for asking. I am back among the living today. I am finally on the other side of it....still have the nasty cough though. I thought I would try to craft tonight...but bed sounds awfully good...so maybe tomorrow.

I am in my way to bed finally. I have been up since 6:00 AM and except for a 20 minute power nap, I have been up ever since. I put the finishing touches on the circle easel card and that will be mailed tomorrow. Got started on a few cards that I need for birthdays and made dinner for my incapacitated sister and her family and made something totally different for our family because DH is a wee bit picky and does not think Hot Roast Beef sandwiches are an appropriate dinner meal. My boys were disappointed that they could not eat them, so I promised them next week when DH's hours changes and it is just us for dinner, we will eat all the stuff he does not like...LOL Kelley, I responded to your PM, but in case you didn't see..who knows with this board I do not like Neon colors and nothing prissy super girly.

Denise Denise my daughter loves it when DH isn't home for dinner. Sometimes, when I am feeling really lazy, I will make her pancakes. At 4 pancakes for dinner might as well be ice cream! But Daddy doesn't think that is a good dinner either and she just can't understand that!

Sumrbrez my MQ is up to date now. I did add a little to it. If you have already been there you may want to go back and look at it toward the end. I have my piece I am going to alter, now all I have to do is begin to think of what I am going to do now. I have some ideas, but not sure yet. The wheels are turnin' Edited by user Friday, March 01, 2013 10:06:42 PM(UTC)

I told them that they knew how dad was about sandwiches for dinner, never during the week. They did end up at my sisters for dinner anyway as the 23 year old dropped them off for me. Our daughter gets so perturbed at him for some of his food ideas. She made homemade Tamales in corn husks one night and he stated that corn husks are not for wrapping food in, she looked at him and pulled up all 5'2" 115 pound body and said you ate MRE's for 11 months you were in Iraq and i am sure you ingested sand and small bugs and corn husks bother you. He sheepishly opened his tamales and ate them, with great gusto I might add.

QOD - Or topic of the day: Normally I am drawn to Graphic 45...I just love their paper. The Steampunk Debutante and the Old Curriousity Shoppe are my two favorite lines ever. I like the new one French General ok, but do not really care for the other one that just came out. I was parusing the new lines out from other paper companies and I was drawn to the new Kaisercraft 75 Cents line. I don't usually associate Kaisercraft with paper at least out here - we only usually see embellies out here.
What paper company is your go to? Is there a new line out their that has struck your fancy?

I recently got a 6x6 pad of Teresa Collins paper and really love it. There is another one that I got too that I really like. I have been using it a lot on some of the swaps. I have been wanting to find more different papers but I am so picky and it is really so hard to find something I like. Edited by user Saturday, March 02, 2013 8:00:42 PM(UTC)

QOD: Graphic 45 is my absolute favorite but like many of the Bo Bunny lines as well. I like some of the Simple Stories lines more for thier journaling cards and quotes and love The Paper Loft as most of thier lines are heritage and male.

QOD: I like Graphic 45 (but not crazy about French Country... sorry), Tim Holtz (Core'dinations & Kraft Resist) and SEI. SEI is really different from Graphic 45 and Tim Holtz but I am kind of all over sometimes :)

QOD: BoBunny has been my latest go to. I scrap a lot of boy related pages and can generally find something is almost every line that I "like" --- maybe that explains why my DH thinks I can open my own shop with the rack of cardstock that I have. :) I used this past week as an example of why I "need" to buy things when they are on sale....we were snowed in for 2 days (2 separate days with in 4 days) and i didn't HAVE to go to the store I had everything i needed here! :)
Waving "HI" to Beanies Mom!
