Good thoughts please...UPDATE ON SURGERY...

I need some good thoughts and crossed fingers coming my way....Went shopping with hubby this morning and in the process of getting out of the car I tripped and fell and broke my arm. I spent the rest of the day in ER....they said I shattered the bone and they have to xray it again in a few days to determine if I need surgery! my scrapbook days are messed up now...right handed and right arm broke...cross fingers I wont need surgery! Well I just got a phone call from orthopedic specialist...said after checking Saturdays xrays again they don't want to wait...surgery is scheduled tomorrow.
I have closed the door on my scrapbook room so I don't get more depressed...Edited by user Monday, February 11, 2013 1:00:17 PM(UTC)

Oh GrammyCris, I am so sorry this happened to you. I am praying for no surgery , no pain, and a speedy recovery. To cheer you up, have your DH wash your hair for you. Mine had to do that for me when I had surgery on my right hand. GG

Oh, how awful. Hope all goes well with your next dr.'s visit and no surgery is needed. Sometime life is just too hard.

Ohhh No!!! This is awful & I know the situation your in, being my son has broken a few bones skateboarding etc. Sports etc. & I know how it can limit what you do. I will keep you in thoughts & prayers & sending gentle hugs your way......I'll be watching to see how you make out.

Absolutely positive prayers that you are mending without any surgery. I am so sorry that you are dealing with that injury. I broke my foot once "jogging".I'd never "jogged" in my life and decided to have a "jog" around the block on a concrete sidewalk to be healthy! A year in "space shoes" and several months on crutches but fortunately without surgery. I will be seeing you well and scrapping away! Diania
