How do I keep my Vinyl from peeling?

I'm fairly new to Cricut and using vinyl. I have made some gifts for friends on plastic cups or even on the glass tumblers and my vinyl peels sometimes. Is there something I can apply to the vinyl to keep it from peeling? Thank you.

What kind of vinyl did you use?
I have had no trouble with Oracal 651 peeling, except when I used the font Scriptina. It was super fine, and after several trips through the dishwasher it started to peel from my acrylic tumbler. I now offset that font to make it thicker.
Also, let your vinyl cure on your item at least 48 hours before washing. Make sure you burnish it down really good before you remove your transfer tape.

The type of vinyl can make a world of difference. You need to use one meant for outdoor, like SnapishBB said about using Oracal 651. & try not to touch the adhesive if at all possible. The oils from your hands can deteriorate the adhesive quality.
