BingoLady #2 - Pretty! Like the Christmas paper, ribbon and the shiny star against the snow white embossed cardstock. Collage card - OOOH LA LA is right!! Great card, love the colors, BG paper and all the "acessories". Cute models, too!
DragonFly #2 Ad Colors & Collage - Great colors, papers, the linked double hearts are nice.
AcrossThePond Guy Card - Love this very manly fold card, perfect colors and elements. The sentiment is perfect! Second card is also great...give him both!! New Word Card - Like the "Thank you" font with the tiny flowers, and striped paper. Your Son's friend will appreciate it!
VickieBryant Guy Card - All three cards are so cute. And yes the red Ladybug and Cupid Bear are very fun cards for a guy. Ad Color Cards - LOVE the smiling clouds with their raining hearts and the polka dot BG papers. Both very happy cards!
Raquel Gisele's Host week - #1: Like the untraditional Christmas colors and pretty frame. Very pretty! #2 - Very bright & colorful, great sketch interpretation. #3 - Like the sentiment, swirls, and dots. The buttons finish the circle theme very nice! Sand's Week - #1 - LOVE this card, especially the assorted banners and Poinsettia. This Week: #1 – Like the Valentine candy stamp and matching BG paper and the placement of the swirl. Very cute card! #2 Guy & Collage Card - Like all the sentiments and the effect of the white strips on the colorful background.
Sandy #2 - LOVE the BG paper it looks like Burlap and the images look like they are pressed on sheets of copper. Beautiful card!
NanaDonna Collage Card – You KNOW I love yellow and I REALLY love this card. Pretty flowers with the bold red matting, and tiny floral BG pattern. #1 – Great assortment of paper patterns, sentiment and font. I like the tiny bit of embossing to finish off the banner, is the banner really cut out of ribbon??
Gisele Guy & Collage Card – Great card, love all the embellishments going on here, the green/brown color combo and addition of all the Brads. Nothing girly about this card for sure!! Sympathy Card – Like the pretty lace and gold Brads around the frame. Flowers and butterflies always seem to help heal the soul. Thanks for sharing the beautiful snow pictures of your property, bet it is just as beautiful throughout the rest of the year…lucky you! You did a great job on the favor boxes, like the oversized nametags on each. #1 - Love the truck hauling the tree home and the great BG paper. Makes a very nice guy card, too!
LisaW. Very nice Bball card, like the way you did the shilouettes in white, they really pop and perfect BG paper, too! Thanks for sharing your daughter's Basketball pictures. Love it when parents take interest in their child's sports activities. Love her torquoise sneakers...I've seen alot of REALLY bright neon color sneakers at my grandsons soccer games (some boys even wearing pink neon!!), must be the colors that are trending lately.
All caught up for now, be back on Tuesday!Edited by user Monday, February 11, 2013 11:34:40 PM(UTC)

christineramey8b61e521 wrote:Thank you everyone. I had to put my dog down on Saturday. It's been really tough over the weekend in the silence of not having her around. I miss her terribly, but I'm grateful that I had gotten a new dog last year with the idea that I knew her time was soon and couldn't handle not having another dog around. Harley (my shitzu) and I are adjusting to not having her around, but I still mourn greatly for her. Just keep me in your thoughts and prayers for the weeks ahead as we adjust to a new way of life!
I will try and rejoin again in the next challenge it has just been too hard right now to concentrate on much of anything else but Harley! I'm really sorry Christine... take all the time you need. We'll miss you and your wonderful creations. *HUGS*

Raquel - Very pretty card for sketch #1 and ad colours. Love what you did with the digi. I also love what you have done with sketch #2, male and collage challenges.
Christineramy - Again sorry to hear of your dog.
Gisele - Wonderful job with #1
LisaW - Great card for sketch #2, great photo too.
Bingolady - What a fun and different card for #1, ad colours and collage challenge.
Sorry I haven't been around much and didn't get to have a go at my card sketches, maybe I will try to do them when I get back home. Mum is doing a bit better and we have been to see her Parkinson specialist today. Should be going home tomorrow all being well.

back from bball...lets see if I can post now. I went another avenue for the use of the ad challenge. I had 2 pieces of patterned paper that I wanted to use that had dark purple and pink but just my luck...the first paper didn't stick to my mat when it was cutting so had to toss. I got a brand new mat out to start over and guess what...I put the pattern of the paper wrong so went digging for more paper. I found this paper in my stash that had dark pink and light pink but somehow I had to figure out how to get the purple in it. What do you think??? too much??? I am making treat holders for my scrapbook ladies for Thursday night...I am using four of the purse patterns from that cartridge and filling them up with candy. Cartridge: Forever Young...used fit to page so I could make it as big as possible LisaW. attached the following image(s):

Sorry ladies but I am going to have to come back tomorrow and comment on everybody's beautiful work this week and finish up my last card. Night of insomnia, long day of work, and daughter's practice I am having a hard time keeping my eyes open.
Of note...I did finish my book while I was waiting. The series of the books are "Arcane Society". Stories about the para-psychics. I think they are a combination of romance/mystery...romance is not my style but I keep getting drawn back to these. The books are by Jayne Ann Krentz who also writes under Amanda Quick if anybody likes to read.
Good night all Lisa

christine, Sorry about all the sadness you had to go through this past week. Hoping you and Harley find comfort in each other and help you get through this time. Please hurry back, this MB can also be a comfort for you and help take your mind off your loss, if only for a few hours.

Thank you TurtleBug. . .I'm waiting for the new layouts, but yes, it has helped. Thank you! Harley has been a joy in the days of not doing well. Healing each day from it but the pain truly never goes away. I've been peeking in and see some really cool cards and ideas for things to do. :) Thanks everyone!
