I have the two cards almost done... Just trying to decide if a little glitter will add to it or just not suit it... I really wish I had one of those glimmer mist things right now. I think that would be perfect... Maybe a little trip to M's is in my future! :)
I'll be starting on the bags soon, cards always seem so much easier to me somehow! But maybe I'll make extras while I'm at it this time... My supply has completely run out!

Ahh... done the cards! It turned out that a little crochet lace trim and a few rhinestones were the answer. Now I'll have to find a different excuse to go shopping!

Cannot remember the last time I checked in so I am checking in....there is a lot going on here so I am working on my swaps early (it is 5:07 AM) in the day. My baby sister is having a discectomy today, another sister had a nerve blocker last week...sheesh....sometimes I get tired of being the grownup. I have to drop the dog off at his beauty appointment. Ya know a boy has to look good for his public. Angela, I need your address. I have 2 bags done and the teachers card. I have to do the Birthday card yet....looking to mail by next Saturday or so. Have a good day all.

Denise PMd you! You're ahead of me... I plan on starting the bags on Friday. My new job is Tues-Thurs, and it's insane around here for 72 hours. So no crafting for me those days! But the extra long weekends are really nice! I hope everyone is doing okay!

I just returned home from a college visit. Just my 18 year old son and I went. We left 18 hours after my husband returned from a 2 1\2 week trip to China. The family was not together for about three weeks and it seemed so odd. It was great being with just my son. With him going off to college in the fall , i know the opportunity for one on one time with him will be few and far between . I think it made me cherish the trip all the more. Enough rambling.

JCI -- Ok everyone I am doing a major clean up in my room and I want to get ready for the spring and summer swapping. I had become quite messy and it was time to straighten up I couldn't find anything. So, it's taking longer than expected but I am working on my projects and keeping up so don't worry all is well here. LOL

I just reread the OP and now I'm in a pickle. I forgot the requirement about using something PC.I haven't completed the cards so it won't be a problem incorporating something into them. I had hand colored a couple of images and embellished with ribbon, lace, flowers etc... for the bags. I am not sure if I am going to have to restart. If I add a cut to the bags I think they will look out of place., maybe I can add something to the back and it won't look so awkward ? I am going to go through my cuttlebug dies to see if anything "hits" me.

I think if you do it on the card that should be ok. I forgot that also and I just looked at my items, my bags have cricut cut but my tags don't.

Hi All ! Laura -  the Cricut/Cuttlebug is not a "requirement"  it is a "preference". I think we should try not to lose track of the community we are working in. Even a little bit of texture with a Cuttlebug folder is an easy fix. But I am not tyrannical about it  I know this will be a really great group of bags coming out !! I cant wait to see pictures.... Have fun and no worries ladies ...Except for "flakers".. I am getting more tolerant in my old age !!

Barbara, I will do my best to work something in. I already have everything glued down or it would be no problem to run something through the cuttlebug. I think you will be happy with what I made for you. Next time I promise to remember all the rules . I would just keep the ones I have already made and remake yours but ... the last month has been nuts and I am behind on crafting. My husband had 1 weeks notice that he had to go to China for 2.5 weeks, I hurt my ankle then twisted it 2 weeks later( I have had to stay off it as much as possible), and my father in law has been in the hospital for the last 3.5 weeks. Add in all of the regular activities with four kids and I have had very little me time. I promise I will get them mailed on time Laura

Just popped in to say hi! Got kind of stuck on the bags for some reason. I had a colour scheme, but that was all. But I went back through my embossing folders tonight and found some inspiration, so I'm hoping to make some serious headway tonight.

Hi all !
I finished things up while waiting on the dishwasher repairman. It was my first attempt at making envelopes. I now can't imagine not taking the extra five minutes to make a matching envelopes. It really is a nice special touch.
Barbara if you will pm me your address, I will get them mailed to you in the next couple of days. I have a couple of busy month coming up but would like to join again if you do another round.

Big waves to my partners Cricut Crazy and Penny!!! Your package will go postal tomorrow and I will be back to post my DC#. Just wanted to give you a heads up. Things are really nuts right now. We are getting ready to have our taxes done and my hubby is a grumpy! I told him to take a happy pill, they might reduce any tax liability if you smile. He didn't like that too much either. LOL. Hi Denise! I finished yours on Tuesday. Or so I thought. I've added to them every night since! But I have now decided that I am officially done, so I thought I'd drop by the post office tomorrow on my way to my daughter's ballet class. Only I just discovered that I'm out of the big bubble envelopes... So now I have to go to the store to buy one on my way to ballet, hopefully I'll get to the post office in the afternoon. If not, then Sunday for sure. I'm so excited to see pics of everyone's creations! ETA: I just found a large bubble envelope... right in front of my nose! I thought I had one... YAY looking forward to it. OT I have such a yucky weekend so far because of my siblings.....why can't everyone get along. I decided today that instead of having a big Easter like we usually do, it will be just me and our kids (DH has to work). I am 57 years old and they are all older and I cannot deal with the ones who do not want to come become of a wrong another did years ago....sigh
