This is a partner swap. You will design and make 2 Gift Bags ( or Boxes ) with a matching Tag and/or Greeting Card for your partner . Some people do not wish to have a tag or card, and you may eliminate one of the items if you partner does not want to have it. Your partner will choose from the following themes on this Round. It is important to stay in touch with your partner and create something they will enjoy giving...Be sure to use some Cricut Cuts and/or CUttlebug embossing on your items too....We are, after all, a CRICUT COMMUNITY !!

PICTURES: "Just in case" Take photos of your items BEFORE you send them and also when you receive from your partner.. and post on the site for all to enjoy ! If you do not have a digital camera, please ask your partner to post for you .

PRACTICE putting photos on the MB> The main trick is to be sure to SHRINK the size of your pictures in your computer's photo program FIRST. WIndows Photo Viewer has an easy EDIT feature that allows you to select small medium large and x large sizes to "save your picture". After you save it as a "medium" or "Small" image, it will very easily upload to the MB. .. You can do the same thing on Kodak Gallery and many other sites online. PhotoSHop and Windows XP Photo Gallery is just the same.
Putting pix on here is part of the swap rules... It is the way that you can THANK YOUR PARTNER properly for a job well done and give them the credit they deserve. If you cannot do it for some reason, please let me know this when you are signing up and it will be up to your partner if she is willing to take pictures and post for you.

Your Bags should be at least a Medium Sized Bag ( approx. 8x10 or 9x12 ), something you could really use for a gift item . You may purchase plain kraft or colored bags from the store and use them for your base... I have found that buying GLOSSY bags is a mistake, as it is difficult to make the glue stick to them...I reccommend using plain paper bags. I get a pack of 12 at JoAnns or Michael's or Hobby Lobby, in assorted colors, or all in white for $3.00 with a coupon....it is so economical that way ! There should be some embellishment on
BOTH SIDES of the Bag...the front would be the most elaborate of course. The Tag should be a #8 RAnger tag ( or the same size ) with a reinforced tag hole and a nice long ribbon or twine tie so that it can be hung onto a package. A card should be A2 or larger and INCLUDE a matching envelope please. Colors can be agreed upon with your partners. You may also decide to do a ChipBoard or Cardboard box that you will alter for your partner and make a tag and/or card as well. Boxes are nice because they can be used by the receiver for other purposes after the gift has been given.
I will keep this open until 2/11-Monday night and then assign partners on Tuesday 2/12 . You will then have until St Patrick's Day (March 17th ) to craft and mail your items.
