Today is a perfect example of why I don't want to use CCR. I can barely post because the Superbowl has people flocking to the net like crazy!! I like the idea of CCR, but just not hooked to the internet. I'd never be able to get anything done! We are in the slowest of the slowest internet zones!
My dh asked me if I was going to go with "that other machine". I told him no. I had SCAL that I had purchased to use with my Cricut a zillion years ago (okay, maybe not that long ago! ) but never used it! I like the images ready made for me and I don't want to fuss with my computer!
I am certainly not bashing anyone who loves CCR! But for those of you who catch what I'm throwing... Sing with me... "If you're lazy and you know it clap your hands!"

If you have SCAL there are many svg files already done for you. It is amazing what you can find to cut for free. If you ever used design studio it works the same way, very easy. Once you download the files there is no need to be online just on your computer.

Laura Scal is the program that shouldn't be named and yes you can get it if you have a machine other than the cricut. PM if you have specific questions.

Scal version 1 & 2 work with the cricut but are no longer supported by craft edge due to a lawsuit between them and provocraft. Scal version 3 only works with other cutters. So you can no longer buy Scal for the cricut, but if you have an older version it works fine.
